Sharing and reflecting on life moments is an integral part of Facebook. But how do you create celebratory and personal experiences to over a billion people at a time? What does it take to make someone genuinely feel something when you tell them a story about their life, their friends, their communities? What role does algorithms play?

Daniel Ilic is a Creative Director at Facebook and creates personalized brand experiences. He will speak about the delicate dance between engineering, UX research, content strategy and storytelling and how creative empathy goes a long way when you celebrate meaningful connections between people at scale.

Daniel have an extensive experience from user centered design, marketing innovation and brand storytelling and leads two verticals in Facebook’s Creative Experiences Team that help people discover, understand, and fall in love with Facebook's products and programs.

We live in a time where our ways of communicating have changed dramatically in a very short time. Of course, this will not stop. With all new technology that will be embedded in our society and even in our bodies, we quickly move forward to a world where the outcome is still unknown.

What we do know is that this will open up a world where we will communicate in new ways, this will change how we communicate, offer services and live our day to day both in our physical and virtual life.
