Joeli founded the feminist project and campaign 'Pregnant Then Screwed' which exposes the systemic problem of pregnancy and maternity discrimination and gives women the tools they need to challenge discriminatory behaviour. She wants to live in a world where care-giving is valued.
Joeli writes for the Telegraph, the Guardian and the Independent and she has made regular appearances on TV and radio. She advises MPs in the UK on how the Government can address the motherhood penalty and is part of the Parliamentary group for Women and Work. She is also working on a book and a documentary about the issue.
Joeli wants to show the world how valuing care can improve business productivity, a country’s economy and the wellbeing of its citizens.
